Não há dúvidas de que 2022 foi um ano repleto de grandes lançamentos na música global. E neste período, muitos artistas se destacaram reforçando seu legado. É o caso de nomes grandiosos da indústria como The Weeknd,  Avril Lavigne e Tate McRae, que seguem entre os artistas com o maior número de indicações do Juno Awards 2023. Sendo uma das maiores premiações canadenses da música, a cerimônia acontece no dia 13 de março. The Weeknd é o principal artista do Juno Awards 2023, com seis nomeações por entre as maiores categorias, incluindo Artista do Ano, Single do Ano, por “Sacrifice”, Álbum do Ano, por “Dawn FM”, e Compositor do Ano. Mais do que merecido para astro canadense.

Logo em seguida Avril Lavigne e Tate McRae seguem com cinco indicações cada. Celebrando 20 anos de carreira, a voz de “Sk8er Boi” também concorre na categoria Artista do Ano, Álbum do Ano e Álbum Pop do Ano, pelo “Love Sux” e Single do Ano, por “Bite Me”.
