O Papa Roach escolheu o primeiro dia de agosto para liberar sua nova música. A banda chamou Jason Aalon Butler, vocalista do Fever 333 e o rapper Sueco para “Swerve”, a nova música de trabalho.
A banda não deu mais detalhes, mas é esperado que a faixa esteja no próximo álbum de estúdio do Papa Roach que deve ser lançado no ano que vem em uma nova fase. A estreia será via o próprio selo da banda, a New Noize Records com distribuição pela ADA ligada à Warner Music. O clipe de “Swerve” vai estrear na próxima quinta-feira, 5 de agosto, com direção de Darren Craig.
“Nós somos a gravadora. Usando o nosso conhecimento acumulado nos últimos anos ao lado do nosso time, vamos comandar isso sozinhos. E é muito animador e um pouco assustador porque você não sabe [o que vai acontecer]. Mas quer saber? Eu sinto que a gente não vai falhar”, disse Jacoby Shaddix em uma entrevista para a rádio FM 99 WNOR.
Em 2021, o Papa Roach liberou a sua segunda coletânea de sucessos, a “Greatest Hits Vol. 2: The Better Noise Years”, com 12 faixas e três músicas nunca liberadas antes além de versões acústicas. Em dezembro foi a vez do EP “20/20” com novas versões de músicas famosas como “Scars”.
“Who Do You Trust?” é o mais recente disco do grupo e saiu em janeiro de 2019.
