A premiação da MTV voltada para cinema e televisão – o MTV Movie & TV Awards – ocorre no domingo (5/6). A transmissão ao vivo começará às 21h (horário de Brasília) pela MTV (consulte o canal de sua operadora).
Outra forma de assistir à premiação é pelo canal MTV Pluto TV (157) no serviço de streaming gratuito Pluto TV.

A cerimônia será apresentada por Vanessa Hudgens e homenageará o ator Jack Black. Ele receberá o troféu especial chamado Gênio da Comédia, que só foi entregue para outros quatro artistas até hoje: Melissa McCarthy (2016), Kevin Hart (2015), Will Ferrell (2013) e Sasha Baron Cohen (2021).
Já Jennifer Lopez receberá o troféu Generation Award que homenageia os atores cujas contribuições tanto para o cinema quanto para a televisão foram gigantes.
