Dia de lançamento da Anitta! A cantora estreou, na tarde desta sexta (15/10), o clipe de seu novo single, “Faking Love”, com participação da americana Saweetie. “Essa música é uma das mais divertidas do álbum! Eu adoro a energia que ela tem, a letra empoderada com um tom debochado”, diz a popstar.
“A querida Saweetie foi a parceria que a música pedia. Eu admiro muito a mulher poderosa e dona de si que ela é… foi o ‘match’ perfeito. Feliz demais de poder mostrar pra todo mundo ‘Faking Love’”, completa.

Em coletiva de imprensa, Anitta contou que se estressou durante a gravação desse clipe. Ela disse que, no próximo, assumirá a direção para evitar algumas situações. Neste, ela trabalhou com a produtora Black Market e a direção ficou a cargo de Bradley & Pablo.
Antes de “Faking Love”, Bradley & Pablo dirigiram “Watermelon Sugar” (Harry Styles), “Rodeo” (Lil Nas X), “Think About Us” (Little Mix), “React” (The Pussycat Dolls), “Aute Cuture” (Rosalía) e “MotorSport” (Migos), entre outros.
A música nova, toda em inglês, é uma composição de Anitta com Saweetie, Andres Torres, Kaine, Mauricio Rangifo e Ryan Tedder. A produção é de Andres Torres, Mauricio Rengifo e Ryan Tedder.
