O final do ano chegou e com ele as listas que fazem a retrospectiva do que mais bombou. Uma das mais esperadas é a da Billboard, que liberou nesta segunda-feira (11) suas listas incluindo as músicas, álbuns e artistas de maior sucesso em 2017.
A revista ressalta que 2017 foi dominado por nomes masculinos. Prova disso é que, pela primeira vez desde 1984, todo o top 10 das principais listas são só com homens.
Ed Sheeran aparece com o nome de maior destaque, emplacando hits como “Shape of You” e o álbum ÷ (Divide). Uma peculiaridade é que ele é o primeiro cantor britânico a ficar no topo da lista de fim de ano desde George Michael, em 1988.
Para onde foram as mulheres? A revista explica que o aumento da popularidade do rap nos serviços de streaming foi uma das causas, já que é um meio de maioria masculina. Além disso, grandes nomes como Adele e Beyoncé estavam em pausa. Na lista dos principais artistas, Ariana Grande é a mulher mais colocada. Já com os álbuns, Rihanna aparece primeiro com o “Anti”.
De fato, nenhuma mulher conseguiu entrar no top 10 das paradas de álbuns e singles como artistas principais. Grandes parcerias foram destaques, como The Chainsmokers e Halsey em “Closer” e Zedd e Alessia Cara em “Stay”.
