Beyoncé lidera em indicações musicais no NAACP Image Awards; dupla Chloe x Halle vem em segundo

A premiação chega em sua 52ª edição e celebra o trabalho de artistas negros, indígenas e pessoas de cor.

Depois do sucesso do filme musical “Black is King“, exclusivo do Disney+, e da música “Black Parade”, lançada em um momento de clamor do movimento Black Lives Matter e como forma de apoiar um projeto beneficente, Beyoncé agora vem colhendo os frutos desses projetos tão importantes.

No NAACP Image Awards deste ano, a 52ª edição da premiação, Beyoncé lidera em indicações nas categorias musicais, com seis no total, entre elas “Melhor Artista Feminina” e “Melhor Videoclipe/Álbum Visual”.

Além disso, a cantora aparece na disputa por prêmios por sua participação em “Savage Remix”, de Megan The Stallion.

Outro fruto muito bem colhido e que foi também plantado por Beyoncé é o sucesso da dupla de irmãs Chloe x Halle. Com um ano super aclamado, após o lançamento do álbum “Ungodly Hour” e muitas, muitas performances ao vivo mesmo durante a pandemia de Covid-19, as meninas também se destacam entre as indicadas musicais do NAACP Image Awards.

Enquanto Beyoncé teve seis indicações, a dupla aparece concorrendo em 5 categorias, disputando inclusive com a própria Beyoncé em “Melhor Videoclipe/Álbum Musical”, “Melhor Música R&B/Soul” e “Melhor Dupla, Grupo ou Colaboração (Contemporâneo)”.
