Bebe Rexha está concorrendo em uma das mais tradicionais premiações country dos Estados Unidos. Saíram nesta terça-feira (28/8) os indicados ao CMA Awards 2018 e “Meant to Be” aparece duas vezes.
A música, que se tornou um imenso sucesso nos Estados Unidos, é uma parceria com a banda Florida Georgia Line e concorre no CMA Awards nas categorias de “Single do Ano” e “Evento Musical do Ano” (categoria que premia as colaborações musicais).
Taylor Swift, atualmente muito mais engajada na música Pop, também concorre em uma categoria: Melhor Vídeo do Ano, por sua colaboração com a banda Sugarland na música “Babe”.
O CMA Awards acontece no dia 14 de novembro, mais uma vez apresentado por Brad Paisley e Carrie Underwood. Essa é a 11ª edição seguida que os dois grandes nomes da música country apresentam a premiação.
