Na noite desta quarta-feira, 14 de fevereiro, aconteceu em Londres a premiação “NME Awards 2018”, onde vários artistas foram honrados. O estilo da cerimônia é mais alternativo, mas mesmo assim artistas como Ariana Grande, Lorde, Lady Gaga e Charlie XCX levaram prêmios para casa.
Lorde saiu com duas vitórias, vencendo em melhor artista internacional solo e também “melhor álbum” com o “Melodrama”. Quem também levou duas vitórias foi Ariana Grande. Depois de passar por um momento difícil com um atentado terrorista em seu show, ela foi eleita a “heroína do ano”. O show beneficente para arrecadar fundos para os afetados “One Love Manchester”, promovido pela cantora, foi eleito o “momento musical do ano”.
