A Universal Pictures divulgou um novo vídeo promocional do filme “Wicked”, com foco total em Glinda, a personagem de Ariana Grande. O teaser antecipa a interpretação da cantora para a música “Popular”, o solo de sua personagem no musical. Confira o vídeo:

Os fãs de Ariana Grande devem se lembrar que ela gravou um sample de “Popular” em seu álbum de estreia, “Yours Truly” (2013), certificado como platina nos Estados Unidos. A música “Popular Song”, dueto com o libanês Mika, é inspirada em “Popular” de “Wicked” e utiliza samples da original.
Ariana sempre foi fã de “Wicked”. Ela assistiu à montagem original do musical na Broadway quando era menina e, desde então, sonha em interpretar Glinda. Ela fez questão de fazer os testes para o papel quando soube da adaptação cinematográfica… e foi aprovada!
O filme estreia em 21 de novembro nos cinemas.
