One Direction e 5 Seconds of Summer são indicados a “prêmio” de pior banda do ano


A revista de rock NME divulgou a lista de indicados de sua premiação anual e, como de costume, há as categorias engraçadinhas. Uma delas é a Pior Banda, na qual One Direction e 5 Seconds of Summer concorrem contra Bastille, Blink-182, The 1975 e U2. Há ainda a categoria Vilão do Ano, na qual Harry Styles aparece nomeado, juntamente com Taylor Swift, Bono, David Cameron, Nigel Farage e Russell Brand.

Incompreensivelmente, a cantora Taylor Swift também concorre ao título de Herói do Ano (no caso, heroína). Vilã e heroína ao mesmo tempo… Para ser eleita a heroína de 2014, ela terá que derrotar Alex Turner, Dave Grohl, Kate Bush, Noel Gallagher e Russell Brand.

Nem todos astros pop ficaram relegados às categorias menos interessantes da premiação da NME. “Fancy” (Iggy Azalea e Charli XCX) e “Uptown Funk” (Mark Ronson e Bruno Mars) disputam o título de “Dancefloor Filler”. Além disso, Lana Del Rey aparece nomeada na categoria Melhor Artista Solo.
