Assim como Drake, Justin Bieber também não compareceu à premiação mas foi premiado. O astro teen foi eleito o favorito na categoria “Your Fave Artist”. Lorde e Imagine Dragons, que estavam presente, e Selena Gomez venceram nas categorias internacionais.
