Além dos melhores discos de 2016, a Billboard também anunciou nesta segunda-feira (12) as 100 músicas pop mais importantes do ano na opinião da empresa. Segundo a própria Billboard, os critérios de escolha foram os seguintes: “lançadas em 2016 ou que tiveram seu pico na Hot 100 durante este período – a menos que elas tenham aparecido na lista de 2015”.
